The Old School House Holiday Cottages, formerly a Victorian school house, nestle beneath the ancient church of St Gennys. These gorgeous boutique-styled cottages shelter on the cliffside with stunning sea views up towards Bude and over to Lundy Island, each with their own enclosed garden. For walkers, winding cliff paths lead through unspoilt countryside and valleys that are part of the Heritage Coast and protected by the National Trust. The cliffs and beach of Crackington Haven are close by offering excellent cafes and a pub. Surfers can enjoy the waves at many of the north coast beaches, whilst nearby are the bustling town of Bude and the sandy shores of Widemouth Bay. Bikes and surfboards can be locked away safely, and there is an outdoor shower for washing off the sand after visits to the beach.
